i'm utterly frustrated and disappointed at people who claimed to be Christians but decide to only go to church service when they have "the mood" to. don't tell me, "see first lah. if my mood good, then i go lor." (i refer to those who'd been Christians for a long time.)
HEYS. is going for service so HARD for you?
MOOD. MOOD. ahh! i SCREAM.
how could you make decisions just based on your MOOD? Man! YOU NEED A LIFE!
imagine you're engaged to this person, and you're supposed to be married tomorrow. when you went to the wedding ceremony, you realised your partner wasn't there. you panic and you called him/her up and asked why he/she wasn't there. and he/she gives you this reply,
" aiya. i don't have the mood to get married."
LET ME TELL YOU, I'LL NOT MARRY THAT PERSON.
but hey, God ain't as mean as i am. God is a gentleman, a true lover, a patient One. imagine 2006 years ago, Jesus decided that if he feels good, he'll carry the cross and go through the hardships and die on the cross for the people. but if he just don't feel good and don't have the mood- HECK. who cares about those silly sinful people anyway?
IMAGINE. if HE had made THAT decision. we'll probably be so lost and gone by now. but NO. God didn't make foolish decision like that! He knew that if He died, He'd save us. so Jesus willingly carried the cross and went through the hardships and died for us without any SECOND THOUGHTS. yeah, Jesus might have felt the pain and could have given up, but He did not- FOR HE LOVES US. even before we were formed.
IMAGINE. if He just threw that cross aside-
i dare not imagine.
right now, you tell me, "if i have mood then go loh."
THANK GOD CHRIST AIN'T ANYTHING LIKE YOU.
but whatever, i'm just angry over these kind of people. but ultimately, the choice is yours. i may be angry and i would feel like strangling you, but who am i to judge you anyway? in the end, no matter what you do, God is just going to forgive you. now, tell me,
WILL YOU BEAR TO DO THIS TO GOD?
if you bear to- mans. i've got just nothing to say.
but think about it: are you doing TOO much for God?
NO. we can NEVER do too much.
